Position Title: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
ALTEC is seeking a Business Development professional to help and support the Company in its growth ambitions.
This position will appeal to an individual that thrives on developing and closing deals in the space market, on areas such as human exploration and cutting edge technologies on data processing, AI ML, and also with a broader vision and attitude to capture new markets opportunities. The successful candidate will likely have a strong customer network within the Italian space industry, and a deep knowledge of Institutional (i.e. ASI/ESA) markets and their inherent mechanisms.
The role will appeal to a self-starter, who is highly motivated, accustomed to working independently but who can also work effectively in a team and lead new initiatives also from a technical stand-point.

Duties
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
At least 5 years of experience in a business development role, ideally within the space sector.
Good knowledge of complete business winning lifecycle, including capture, qualification and developing capture plans and win strategies.
Ability to establish and meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise multiple, simultaneous activities.
An undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Business, Mathematics or related subject.
SOFT SKILLS
- Commercial / financial / business acumen.
- Excellent communicator with strong planning and delivery orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Able to build relationships with colleagues and work cooperatively with others to achieve goals.
- Excellent written and spoken Italian and English.
